At the beginning of the new year of 2022, our company successfully delivered the order of heat exchange tubes of 10 (HSC) material 19 and 25 series of moisture-resistant hydrogen sulfide to a large petrochemical enterprise. The products fully meet the requirements of the new standard of NB/T47019-2021.

In the context of the increasing deterioration of the world's petroleum resources, the proportion of high-sulfur crude oil in my country's imported crude oil is increasing; at the same time, the proportion of domestic high-sulfur crude oil is also increasing. Task. Hydrogen sulfide is the main form of sulfide in the processing of high-sulfur crude oil. The processing of high-sulfur crude oil brings serious problems of low temperature, medium and high temperature corrosion to equipment, especially low-temperature hydrogen sulfide corrosion is a local damage to materials, which is more difficult to detect and prevention.

On July 1, 2021, the NB/T47019-2011 standard was officially revised by the National Energy Administration, and the technical requirements for 10 (HSC) seamless heat exchange tubes were clarified in Appendix B of the new standard NB/T47019.2-2021. Our company has been in constant communication with various design institutes and pays attention to the research direction of corrosion-resistant heat exchange tubes; for this reason, the technical department, sales department, and procurement department have established the "Humidity Hydrogen Sulfide Corrosion-resistant Heat Exchange Tube Engineering Technology Development" in conjunction with large domestic steel mills. "The research group has jointly formulated the specific steelmaking method for this raw material according to the requirements of the latest and most stringent NB/T47019-2021 standard Appendix B, especially adding rare earth elements (Re) to improve its corrosion resistance. Our company produced this batch of heat exchange tubes by optimizing the process and made a series of tests, and obtained the following results:

(1) Oxygen-free heat-treated seamless steel pipe with low carbon, ultra-low sulfur and phosphorus, micro-alloying, and the corrosion resistance of the material is improved by adding rare earth elements;

(2) It has excellent comprehensive mechanical properties and low hardness value, especially the normal temperature extension and low temperature impact toughness are much higher than conventional carbon steel materials;

(3) The grains are small and the purity is high. According to multiple experimental analysis, the grain size of this material is not greater than 6; the sum of non-metallic inclusions is less than 4.0;

(4) It has excellent resistance to sulfide stress cracking (SSCC). According to the third-party inspection report, the cracking threshold stress of this material is much higher than the standard value;

(5) It has excellent resistance to hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC, SOHIC). According to multiple third-party A solution inspection and analysis, the material's cracking length ratio (CLR), cracking thickness ratio (CTR) and cracking sensitivity ratio (CSR) are all smaller than the maximum value of the NB/T47019-2021 standard; the test was a complete success.

(6) It has excellent resistance to uniform corrosion. According to the comparative test analysis of 48h total immersion corrosion in the laboratory with pH=3.0 4.5 H2S saturated 0.5% acetic acid + 5% NaCl mixed solution, the corrosion resistance of our new product 10 (HSC) is far better than the latest NB/ The corrosion resistance requirements of the T47019-2021 standard meet the technical requirements of many petrochemical design institutes.
